MY Real Estate School Terms & Conditions

PAYMENT PLANS

Short-term payment plans may be offered by MY Real Estate School for select products. The following terms and conditions apply to MY Real Estate School payment plans where offered. These payment plans are not offered for every course option and terms are specified at the time of setup. These terms are subject to change and may vary based on multiple factors:

  • The school is authorized to charge my credit card for the payments due on my account as the payments become due (in 30-day intervals).
  • The school is entitled to suspend my course in the event that I miss a payment for any reason, and the account will stay suspended until any past due payment(s) are received.
  • I am not entitled to receive my certificate of completion for the course until the school has been paid in full for the course.
  • The school is entitled to charge my credit card an Administrative Fee of $9.99 per payment made under the Payment Plan. Under no circumstances am I entitled to a refund of any administrative fees or interests paid, if applicable.
  • In the event that any payment is not made per the above terms, the amount of the total unpaid balance shall be due and forthwith payable, and the school shall be entitled to collect the full remaining unpaid balance. If the school incurs any costs and/or fees (including reasonable attorney fees) in the collecting of any unpaid balance, the student agrees to pay the same, and said costs and/or fees to be added to any unpaid balance.

Terms and Conditions for Two-Payment Installment Plan

  • Payment Structure:

Customers opting for the two-payment installment plan must make two payments. The first payment must be equal to or greater than 50% of the total tuition cost. The full balance must be paid in full no later than the first day of class. Failure to complete payment by this date may result in loss of access to the course and associated materials.

  • Non-Refundable Payments:

All payments made towards tuition, including both the first and second installments, are non-refundable under any circumstances. This applies regardless of course completion, attendance, or withdrawal from the program.

  • Dispute Waiver:

By opting for the two-payment installment plan, the customer agrees to waive the right to initiate any chargebacks, disputes, or claims with their bank or credit card provider in relation to payments made. Any disputes or concerns regarding payments should be communicated directly to [Your Real Estate School’s Name].

  • Legal Recourse:

In the event of a payment dispute, [Your Real Estate School’s Name] reserves the right to pursue legal action to recover outstanding balances, including any associated legal fees and costs. By enrolling in this payment plan, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.

  • Acceptance of Terms:

Enrollment in the two-payment installment plan constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Due to the tax law which mandates that online businesses must collect sales tax in certain states, if your state requires sales tax to be collected, it will automatically be added to the total amount due at checkout minus any donation made to MY Real Estate School Foundation. In addition, if you choose to set up a payment plan, sales tax will be added to each monthly payment plan total. Extended payment plans may be offered by other third-party vendors, for select products, and the third-party vendor’s terms of service will apply. By signing up for an extended payment plan, you hereby acknowledge that you have read and agree to other third-party vendor’s terms of service.

Subject to eligibility. Your rate will be 0% APR or 10–30% APR based on terms established by MRES, and they are subject to an eligibility check. A 0% APR is available on select products for a limited time, and for those who qualify. Payment options through other third-party vendors are provided by these lending partners: Afterpay, Paypal & Klarna. Options depend on your purchase amount, and a down payment or deposit will be required, the amount will vary.

Please note that you may not receive a rebate of any interest that may have already accrued on an amount that later gets refunded.

MY Real Estate School reserves the right to refer any outstanding balance to a collection agency and seek recovery of any lost revenues.

REFUND POLICY

MY Real Estate School is committed to student satisfaction. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, MY Real Estate School will refund the purchase price of any in-person or livestream course if the refund request is submitted within 7 days of purchase, prior to course expiration, and if the course is not more than 25% complete.

Livestream and In Person (synchronous) courses are refundable up to 1 week (or 7-10 days) prior to the scheduled start date of class. No refunds will be issued if any coursework is more than 25% complete or if the live class has started.

Regarding Exam Prep (MY Prep and MY Prep+), MY Real Estate School will refund the purchase price of any MY Prep product if the refund request is submitted within thirty (30) days of purchase and if the initial assessment has not been completed.

MY Real Estate School does not offer price adjustments on previously purchased items.

ONLINE COURSE REPURCHASE POLICY

If your course has fully expired, you may repurchase the course at fifty percent (50%) off of the current retail price one (1) time. This option is only available within the 12 months from the date of your course. If your course expires a second time, you will have to repurchase the course at full price. Textbooks are not required to be reused for online courses.

ELECTRONIC TEXTBOOKS & MATERIALS

MY Real Estate School Textbooks, Exam Prep Tools, Cram Course Books are not returnable. All sales are final. Any e/Textbooks procured through RedShelf expire 365 days from the purchase date. Up to 100% of eTextbook content may be downloaded, within the eReader, to be used for offline viewing only. A maximum of 20% of eTextbook content may be downloaded or printed for personal use outside of the eReader.

PROMOTIONAL CODES

Promotional codes must be applied at checkout. No refund for an unused promotional code will be given after checkout has been completed. To obtain your promotional code discount, you must enter the promotional code in the box under your total at checkout and click the “Apply Discount” button. The discount amount will then be subtracted from the total amount due.

Promotional codes cannot be combined and are not eligible for use in conjunction with payment plans, extensions, or additional certificates of completion.

Promotions offered by MY Real Estate School do not extend to certain products, of which will be specified when used. MY Real Estate School reserves the right to introduce special promotions for specific products during designated times throughout the year.

SALES TAX

PASS OUR COURSE OR DON’T PAY WARRANTY

Guidelines for qualifying for warranty claim:

  • Purchase a pre-license package that contains exam prep or purchase exam prep on its own prior to completion of your course.
  • Practice for the exam: Within your exam prep, you must have completed at least three modules and 3 simulated exams with a passing grade of 75% or higher.
  • Take the state licensing exam: You must sign up to take your state board exam within 30 days of completing our exam prep curriculum and within a reasonable time of completing your course. Pearson Vue will notify you of your exam results.
  • If you do NOT pass your state exam, you will email us at info@alabamarealestateclass.com with a copy of your first attempt scoring results, copy of your course registration (including exam prep registration), screenshot of your exam prep quiz results to process a claim for refund.
  • Warranty only covers 75% of the cost of your course and does not include the cost of exam prep or textbooks costs. Sales Tax or Administration fees will not be refunded.
  • For an 85% Return of the cost of the course, you must have also taken a prescribed exam prep cram course in person or via livestream (excludes on-demand).
  • *Due to state laws, guarantees are only available for Alabama pre-license courses and do NOT include online self-paced courses. Warranty is only valid for use for our live instructor taught, in-person or livestream (zoom) pre-license courses.*

COURSE RETAKE PROMOTIONS

Guidelines for qualifying for warranty claim:

  • To qualify to retake our course, you must have previously taken and completed at least 75% of MY REAL ESTATE SCHOOL’s online or in-person pre-license course.
  • If you’d previously taken our online course, you would have needed to complete at least 75% of the course within 6 months.
  • You must have been a student with us within the last 3 years. *Students that took our course prior to 3 years may qualify for a smaller discount.*
  • You must have reasonable proof of past enrollment and be able to produce it at registration.
  • Promotional pricing does NOT include your textbook, and if you do not have the most current edition in use, you will have to purchase a new textbook. Modern Real Estate Practice 21st edition is currently in use and used editions acquired elsewhere are allowed. Discounted textbooks can be purchased on our website.
  • Terms and conditions of enrollment are subject to change at any time and MRES reserves the right to terminate this policy and promotion without notice and at our discretion.
  • At any time it is found that you do not meet the criteria or eligibility for this promotion, you may be asked to pay the difference in cost.
  • MRES reserves the right to collect on any unpaid fees or tuition costs using any legal means necessary.
