About the Dothan location
The Dothan class meets at ERA Porch Light Properties on Ross Clark Circle. It’s the in-person option for the Wiregrass, from Headland and Abbeville to Slocomb.
You’ll cover the full 60-hour Alabama pre-license course with a local group. MY Real Estate School handles enrollment, materials and scheduling, and your on-site moderator introduces themselves on the first day.

After you’re licensed in Dothan
Once you’re licensed and a broker sponsors you, you can join the Southeast Alabama Association of REALTORS® (formerly the Dothan Association) and work in the Dothan Multiple Listing Service.
Then complete the 30-hour post-license course within six months of activating your license, and 15 hours of continuing education every two years. We offer both online.

When does class meet?

How much does it cost?
$449.99 for the 60-hour course, plus the required $65 textbook.

Is there an option if I can't get to Dothan?
Yes. The same 60-hour course is taught live on Zoom ($449.99), or you can take it online at your own pace.
What happens after I finish the course?
You schedule the Alabama salesperson exam with Pearson VUE, then join a brokerage to activate your license. Within six months of activating it (twelve if it stays inactive) you complete a 30-hour post-license course, which we offer online.
